This fabulously morish dish is a brilliant for finger buffets. Cheap and easy to make, it will go down a treat.
Ingredients
8 chicken drumsticks
8 chicken wings
3tbsp runny honey
2tsp Chinese five spice
1tbsp soy sauce
2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
5cm piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated
3tbsp orange marmalade
1tsp grated orange zest
1tbsp sesame oil
METHOD
Mix all ingredients except chicken in a bowl.
Slash the chicken drumsticks three or four times each with a knife and place in a bowl with the chicken wings.
Pour marinade over the chicken and leave for at least 2 hours, turning occasionally.
Bake in fan oven @ 175 for 45 mins to an hour.
Serve warm
